LOUISVILLE, KY: Wednesday night, a number of storms tore through southern Indiana and Kentucky, causing damage and hail the size of golf balls.
While much of Kentucky was under a tornado watch and several counties were under a severe thunderstorm watch beginning Tuesday night, with the last alert ending by nine a.m. on Wednesday, most of Louisville and the surrounding areas were mostly spared from the storm.
