WNBA rookie sensation Caitlin Clark made waves on social media after being spotted at Yankee Stadium during Saturday’s Rangers-Yankees game. Clark was seen on the field, sporting a Yankees hat and jersey, showing her support for the team as they geared up for their 69th win in the first of two games. The doubleheader began at 1:05 p.m. ET, with the second game set for 4:35 p.m. ET.

With the 2024 Olympics in Paris still ongoing, the WNBA season is on a brief hiatus, giving Clark some time off before the league resumes play later this week. The Iowa standout has had an impressive start to her WNBA career, averaging 17 points, eight assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game, making her a strong contender for Rookie of the Year honors.
The Indiana Fever, Clark’s team, will return to action next Friday against the Phoenix Mercury, aiming to improve their 12-15 record. That game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
Until then, Clark is making the most of her downtime by enjoying some Yankees baseball before she hits the court again to prepare for the second half of the WNBA season.
