Angel Reese has launched her debut footwear and apparel collection with Reebok, following her partnership with the brand secured last year. The new line, which reflects her “powerful energy and versatile style,” includes three distinct sneaker designs: the Premier Road VI, BB 4000 II, and Classic Leather.
Each pair of sneakers features Reese’s personal touch, with her mantra—”when they sleep on you … tuck them in”—inscribed on the insoles. The collection also boasts a graphic tee, a track jacket, and a bodysuit, all in blue and silver hues.
Reese expressed her vision for the collection, saying, “I wanted to create a line that empowers women and girls to embrace their femininity and strength in all they do. I hope it makes them feel both stylish and fierce.”
She acknowledged Shaquille O’Neal, affectionately known as “Uncle Shaq,” for his role in her Reebok journey. O’Neal, newly appointed as Reebok’s president of basketball, was instrumental in signing Reese to the brand.
In a statement to Highsnobiety, Reese praised Reebok as a “true creative partner,” highlighting the collaboration’s focus on confidence and self-expression. “Working with legends like Uncle Shaq and Allen Iverson, and representing women in basketball, is an incredible honor,” she added. “I worked closely with the brand to ensure every piece promotes confidence and expression.”
Reese, who was still with LSU when she signed with Reebok, has been a key factor in the growing popularity of the WNBA. Her impact, alongside rookie rival Caitlin Clark, has driven a 500% increase in Fanatics’ business during the first half of the season compared to the previous year.
The WNBA’s rising prominence is also reflected in a new media rights package valued at approximately $2.2 billion over 11 years, reported last month. This deal, worth about $200 million annually, significantly boosts the league’s media revenue compared to its previous $50 million annual agreements with Disney, Ion, CBS, and Amazon.
The league has shattered several records this season, including a May attendance record with over 400,000 fans, the highest in 26 years. Additionally, WNBA viewership has surged, with games across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and CBS averaging 1.32 million viewers—nearly triple last season’s average of 462,200 viewers.
