Powered by three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokić, Serbia took control early, establishing a nine-point lead over Germany by the end of the first quarter. Despite Germany’s efforts to close the gap in the second quarter, where they outscored Serbia 17-16, they couldn’t overcome Serbia’s superior firepower in the latter half of the game.
Serbia maintained their advantage throughout the third and fourth quarters, with Jokić and fellow standout Vasilije Micić each contributing 19 points to secure the win.
