James and the men’s team had secured a 98-87 victory over France on Saturday, with a thrilling performance in the final minutes led by Stephen Curry. The U.S. men’s team, boasting one of the most dominant rosters in history, finished the Olympics with an impeccable 11-0 record, including exhibition matches. Their victory marked the fifth consecutive gold medal for the U.S. men and their 17th overall in Olympic history.
