Former University of Iowa guard Caitlin Clark has been honored as the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division I Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for all sports in the 2023-24 academic year.
This marks the second consecutive year that Clark has received an award from the CSC, having been named the overall Academic All-America Division I Team Member of the Year in 2022-23. She was the first athlete from the University of Iowa to receive this prestigious honor.
Clark now joins an elite group as only the second two-time winner in Division I history, alongside University of Nebraska’s Sarah Pavan, and becomes the fifth college athlete overall to achieve this feat.
In addition to her overall recognition, Clark was also named the Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for Division I women’s basketball, making her the seventh player to earn this distinction in back-to-back seasons.
After being selected as the number one pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark is now making waves in the professional league. She will return to action with the Fever for the first time since the Olympic break on Friday when Indiana hosts the Phoenix Mercury.
