Will Malachi Moore be suspended?
Alabama football’s starting safety, Malachi Moore, has been in the spotlight following his actions during the team’s loss to Vanderbilt.
Moore has taken responsibility and issued an apology for his behavior.
Alabama’s head coach announced on Monday that any disciplinary measures for Moore would be handled “internally.”
“He has fully owned his actions,” DeBoer stated. “From immediately after the game to this morning, he has taken responsibility on his own, but also through our discussions. What I want Alabama fans to understand is that he has been a key part of holding this team together since January, even when others left. He’s committed to Alabama football and works tirelessly every day. His passion and frustration were evident in that moment, and while he has some regrets, he’s accepted accountability. We’ve addressed it internally and are continuing to do so.”
Alabama is set to face South Carolina this weekend in an SEC matchup.
