World 60m champion Christian Coleman has joined the growing list of athletics faithful who believe Sha’Carri Richardson’s recent buzz as the face of track and field is good for the sport.
After winning the world 100m title in Budapest last year, the world’s fastest woman’s success off-track has seen her rise to the top as the face of the sport alongside Noah Lyles, and Coleman “She’s special. And I believe she is at the vanguard of empowering women in athletics, pushing it to a whole new level,” stated the 60m World Record holder during the Xiamen Diamond League news conference.
