Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark was on fire Friday night against the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena.
In addition to sinking a stunning logo 3-pointer and playfully engaging with the Sky fans courtside, Clark nailed a 3-point shot with Sky rookie forward Kamilla Cardoso tightly defending her. After draining the shot, Clark couldn’t contain her excitement and jubilantly skipped back to the Fever sideline.
Clark was clearly in the zone, delivering one of her standout performances since returning from the Olympic break. This moment captured just how much she was feeling it.
It’s no small feat to hit a 3-pointer with one of the league’s top defenders in tight coverage, and Clark’s celebration was a well-deserved acknowledgment of her skill and confidence.
