With Big Blue Madness just a week away, the Kentucky Wildcats have been working diligently at the Joe Craft Center in preparation for the beginning of the Mark Pope era in UK basketball.
This season, Kentucky will showcase a new team and coaching staff, which brings a lot of uncertainty about what fans can expect in Pope’s first year. We’ve heard a lot about Pope’s offensive system and the talented shooters assembled on this roster, but now we get our first real glimpse at what this team might bring to the court.
Dubbed ‘Banner Camp,’ the team has been running through two-a-day practices, and the program recently released a video to give the fanbase a sneak peek at what’s been happening during practice over the last few weeks.
It’s safe to say this video got everyone hyped up.
With the season starting in just 30 days, it won’t be long until we see the Wildcats in action for a regular season game at Rupp Arena.
