The Big 12 Conference announced the Week 8 TV schedule on Monday, revealing that the West Virginia Mountaineers will host the Kansas State Wildcats in a night game for the second consecutive week. The game is set for 7:30 p.m. EST and will air on either FOX or FS1, with the final network to be determined soon.
Kansas State, currently ranked 18th in the AP Top 25 with a 4-1 (1-1) record, will first travel to Boulder to face Colorado and its stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.
The Wildcats hold a narrow 7-6 lead in the all-time series against West Virginia. Since WVU joined the Big 12, the series has been defined by streaks, with Kansas State winning the first four meetings before West Virginia claimed five straight victories from 2016 to 2020. Kansas State has won the last two matchups, 34-17 and 48-31.
