After a thrilling 39-38 comeback win against California, the Miami Hurricanes have risen in both major college football polls released on Sunday.
Miami climbed two spots to No. 6 in the Associated Press Top 25, marking their highest ranking in the poll since November 2017. The Hurricanes also moved up to No. 6 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, after being ranked eighth last week.
Miami is one of four Atlantic Coast Conference teams ranked in the polls, along with No. 10/No. 11 Clemson, No. 22/No. 24 Pittsburgh, and No. 25 SMU.
