Stephen Curry, who had been red-hot in the semifinals against Serbia, continued his impressive play into the final, scoring 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting, with all eight field goals coming from beyond the arc.
LeBron James concluded the Olympics with averages of 14.2 points, 8.5 assists, and 6.8 rebounds. In the final against France, he added 14 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds to his impressive stat line. Kevin Durant and Devin Booker were key contributors in the gold medal game, with Durant scoring 15 points and grabbing four rebounds and four assists.
While it remains uncertain if this trio will compete in the 2028 Olympics, all three players have been mainstays with Team USA. If they decide to return, they would be well past 39 years old, with James potentially at 43.
